In
the winter of 1987 the lives of games fans in Annecy were changed
for ever with the opening on 2nd December of "VIRUS-JEUX",
a shop of some 38 m2 specialising in games for adults.
Ironically, the address was 13,
rue Filaterie in Annecy, Haute Savoie, France, and it was here
that Chantal stocked a wide
range of games and gadgets, dishing out helpful advice in abundance
to her customers.

In
1989 the shop was expanded slightly, bringing the surface area
to 45 m2, but the growing stock and rapidly increasing
popularity of the shop meant that by spring 1992 a second floor
was required, bringing the total sales area to 90 m2.

With
no more room to expand, the stock became increasingly highly
specialised. The gadgets soon disappeared, and only top quality
products were allowed to take up space.
At
the beginning of the 3rd millennium the next step is shopping
on the Web with a site specially designed for you, accessible
directly from your PC.
